The Lenfest Scholarship Program was started by H.F. (Gerry) and Marguerite Lenfest as a way to create opportunities for rural Pennsylvania students. Since 2001, the Lenfest College Scholarship Program has helped talented students from southeastern and central Pennsylvania pursue their dreams by attending some of the country’s best colleges and universities. Hundreds of students have benefitted from the program. Recognition as a Lenfest Scholar is just the beginning. Students become part of an ever-growing family that provides support for academics, careers, and life. Lenfest Scholars excel in their high schools, colleges, careers, and communities. The Lenfest Scholars Foundation is proud to help give them a start and even more proud of how they continue to change our world.
